If you’re worried that the lockdown is going to cause you to grow a tummy before you get back to work, then consider including these fat burning foods in your daily diet:


Eggs are a good source of high-quality protein which increae metabolic rate by about 20-35 per cent for several hours after eating. Eating eggs can help you burn fat and make you feel full for a longer period.

Fatty fish

Sardines, mackerel, salmon  and other fatty fish contain omega-3 fatty acids that may promote fat loss. Fish is also rich in protein, which helps you feel full and boosts metabolic rate during digestion.


Studies show that people who consumed coffee an hour before working out, burned twice as more fat than those who didn’t. Around 1-4 cups of coffee a day can be helpful.

Whey protein
